Lots o' dogs

Lots o' dogs

CASPA Photo February 2011

Lottie, a recent graduate of the CASPCA, wants me to raise as much money as possible for her alma mater. She and I are infinitely grateful to the CASPCA for getting us together. Lottie’s idea was to introduce herself and her new pack mates while engaged one of the most anticipated events of her new fabulously fun packed life—the morning walk!

Here we are all ready to go.

You can see how excited we are outside the door waiting for Mary to hurry up and get going. That’s Ziggy up front. She’s always making sure that things are done preferably her way, but if not at least she has a paw in it. Behind Ziggy is Asia. Good action shot of him. I’m to the left and I have to say Mary could have done a better of framing me.

This is much better. That's me on the right

Notice Ziggy is still upfront. She almost never lets Mary out of her sight. I have to say I find it irritating sometimes when she wants to This is better that’s me on the right. Notice Ziggy is still upfront. She almost never lets Mary out of her sight. I have to say it some times irritates me when she horns in on a particularly good snuggle.

Pippen has already gone off who knows where but she’ll be back. She’s not a big one for waiting. Oh there she is looking a little squirrely.

Asia is an old man, but that’s not a tumor growing out of his mouth though I thought so when I first arrived since he is almost never without his ball. It’s on of those really hard balls for horses. He told me that his sister Tilly who died last year used to chew the handles off the soft balls that Mary used to buy for him. Tilly’d lose interest in the hard balls before she could do much damage, besides Asia says he likes them better anyway.

Tilly, getting a good scratch from Ralph.

You can see why I’m so glad

to be here.

These people know how to treat a dog.

So let’s go already!

Are you coming?
Asia is ready. He always puts his ball away so that when he gets back he won’t have to waste anytime looking for it. Because it is so hot and he’s so old we walk early in the morning.

More times than not there is a mist, but it could be grunge on the
phone lens. Mary forgot to charge her phone last night and had to use Ralph’s to take these pictures.

Here’s Ziggy keeping her ever watchful eye on things.

Pippen as usual out front and on the move notice Ziggy trying to keep up on the right. Good luck with that Zig.

Here Pippy and Ziggy just scared up a turkey easily twice the size of the two of them combined. Unfortunately

Mary wasn’t quick enough on the

shutter to get

the turkey or Pip who had already gone on to other things.

That’s me. Going through the fence after the turkey. Which way did he go?

Pip in a rare moment standing still

Ziggy is wondering what all the stopping and starting is all about.

I don’t bother wondering I just keep on getting on. That little white dot in the middle is me.

And just in case I gotta check to make sure that the gopher isn’t up this tree.
Mary has to talk Asia over the cattle guard. She says he’s just like her when she dances. She gets all in her head. “Come on Asi you can do it bud.”
Good Man!
You can tell by the length of the tongue it’s time to head home.
See how much easier it is when you don’t think about it.

We’ve just got a few more things to check out.

We’ve just got a few more things to check out.

That was our walk today. I gotta rest up. Whew that was some fun.

Oh I almost forgot here’s Zelda the cat. She doesn’t come on walks with us. She’s got other things she likes to do.

So you can see why I want you to give lots of money to the CASPCA so that other dogs can get a chance to live some place cool like I do.
